Dues Renewals and Session Payments
All members of Peninsula Tennis Club are required to pay annual dues, which is currently $50.00 per calendar year. Dues cover the costs of the club’s Tennis BC membership, insurance premium, social events and administration expenses. Court fees are not included in the dues.
Tennis play is organized three times per year as follows:
- October-December – indoor courts
- January-April – indoor courts
- Summer months – outdoor courts.
Courts are reserved well in advance. Members receive invitations by email to sign up for each upcoming session. The club currently has four weekly sessions for indoor play:
- Sunday afternoon mixed doubles
- Tuesday afternoon women’s doubles
- Wednesday afternoon men’s doubles
- Friday evening mixed doubles
Additionally, the club offers two summer sessions:
- Tuesday morning women’s doubles
- Wednesday morning men’s doubles
Court fees for each of these sessions will be charged. Each Coordinator will send members a playing schedule which will show the cost that will be charged to each member.
All of the session charges and dues renewals will be combined by the Club Treasurer who then sends personalized invoices to each member with payment instructions. Invoices are sent in September, December (which includes annual dues), and April just before the start of each play period.
Occasionally play may be canceled due to rain (outdoor) or to scheduling changes by Panorama. In these cases the Club Treasurer will enter a credit to the accounts of affected members. These credits will be applied to the next invoice.
