The PTC Court Cottage, erected in 2013, is located just overlooking the two outdoor tennis courts behind Panorama Recreation Centre. The project was spearheaded by President Bob Hill, Alan Osborne and Jim Galloway and built by club members. It was agreed that the Panorama facility would retain ownership of the structure and the Club would remain ownership of the Cottage contents. Due to fire regulations, the Club BBQ propane tank was to remain off site. The Cottage contains items to be used for Club socials – chairs, tables, cutlery, table cloths, display white board, and a sun/shade canopy. Once the Court Cottage was built and in use, the Club added a viewing patio and Panorama built the steps and created the gravel pathway from the parking lot.
The final phase of the project was to lower the tennis court enclosure fencing and provide a gate to enter the court.
As a Club member, you are welcome to access and use the supplies in the Cottage to host your own play socials with your friends, reserve the courts, enjoy some tennis and have a BBQ.
